Polymers offer enormous opportunities towards newer applications in technologically important areas. There is a great necessity to have an integral approach towards this complementary relationship of polymers and their performance. These polymeric materials have shown multidirectional growth in several areas of technological innovations, which ranges from the biopolymers and nanomaterials to the fascinating field of smart materials. The sustainability in the polymer world has given a new dimension to the polymer processing and its applications. A precise understanding of the molecular architecture and its role in governing physical characteristics is extremely useful to understand their applications. The world of polymers is fascinating & innovative and requires a great deal of interaction and discussion among the scientific community. This conference on polymers is proposed to exchange information on new dimensions in such application areas.  

Asian Polymer Association (APA) is a professional society dedicated to the science of polymers. APA has organized several conferences at the international forum and has created a highly interacting platform for the polymer scientists. APA is organizing its next International conference (APA-2023) on Polymers for Advanced Technology in Goa, India to address the priorities and to formulate the action plan to face the challenges ahead. The conference would be dedicated to the polymer science and technology with an extensive interaction among academicians, researchers, technologists and policy planners. We have special symposiums on different topics organised by APA Bioforum, APA Nanoforum and APA Sustainability Forum. A special feature of this event is to organize Student Conclave for the benefit for our young generation. We are sure that this conference would provide us required impetus in generating polymer resource for the country. Student Conclave



Wisdom Contest

The contest will check theoretical and practical knowledge of students on topics related to polymer science & technology. Students will be asked to write answers for questions in a given period and will be evaluated on the basis of their overall performance.Prizes will be conferred on the winners. On-line registration for participation would be needed.

Creativity Contest

Creativity Contest will look at the ability of a student in transforming an idea, imagination or invention into a simple process to develop an useful product as an affordable domain for the human being. Prizes will be conferred on the winners. On-line registration for participation would be needed.

Innovation Contest

Innovation Contest will look at the ability of a student in transforming an idea, imagination or invention into a simple process to develop an useful product as an affordable domain for the human being. Prizes will be conferred on the winners. On-line registration for participation would be needed.

Springer Oral Contest

Springer Oral Award presentations are planned for the students. Students will be given 8 minutes (sharp) for presentation followed by the discussion. The evaluations will be made by a group of experts in a panel.

Poster Contest

Poster abstracts are invited from students in different areas of polymer science & technology. These posters will remain displayed on the conference site for two days. The best posters selected by the technical committee will be awarded.

Startup Conclave

Startup Conclave open to the companies who have initiated commercial activity and are at budding Stage.

Selected and peer-reviewed keynote and contributed presentations of the conference will be published by Springer in Springer Proceedings in Materials, which is a Scopus indexed book series.
